I don't expect I was the only one who left it to the last because no incentive to pay early. I do think they'd have sold more with an incentive, as I would expect that if a number of people leave it to the last, then inevitably a certain proportion will not, in the end, pay.
Having said that, it is a goodly number, by any measure, IMHO
suspect there will be a decent number sold tomorrow too as people working will go upto odsal on saturday rather than during week. as said no reason to buy before now. suspect we'll end up with pretty much same final figure as last year.

That would be remarkable if it happened and far beyond what I would have expected. It would suggest that our sense that it was last year or never has rolled forward a year. I certainly feel cautious optimism and obviously so do many of us.
