Just looked it up and Tommy Smales signed from Huddersfield . Never played for Trinity or Fev . A good loose forward with the same name played for Fev.
Our Tommy was an international who was capped while at Huddersfield and at Northern. He also was capped while unattached to any club. Finished his playing career at North Sydney Bears.
