Some haven't been given a chance. Two have been sent out on loan despite doing pretty well when they playes. Yet Chev Walker comes straight into the team after injury.
It doesn't matter if he rates them, it's about keeping key men fresh and fit. Did O'brien and Gaskell really need to play against Doncaster who haven't won a game all year?
If it was all about money then Salford wouldn't be second bottom.
Oh mate, agree with [nearly] all that and have said so quite a few times.
I'm surprised that anyone would feel it 'doesn't matter' that the coach doesn't rate players though. For what it's worth, I suspect that, in the rush to get ready for the new environment in div 2, many of the new overseas players were probably brought over by the club on the 'recommendations of others - some have worked out and some haven't, though indeed, some don't appear to have been given the chance. 'Despite that, as you say, it really should be about keeping key men fit and we haven't done that effectively imo.
As for Salford, well, as they say, "if everything is right in the back office then everything will be right on the field". They have problems with their owner, showing that whilst you won't win if you don't have money [it will definitely be
one of the 'haves' which does win the league] it certainly doesn't, on its own, guarantee success if you have.
