CHEV Walker is back in the Bulls' 19-man squad for Sunday's visit of Batley after recovering from a knee injury.

The veteran back-rower, who has made only five appearances this season, could feature as the Bulls gear up for three games in eight days.


Jake Mullaney misses out with a knock sustained at Workington last week and Epalahame Lauaki is also omitted.


But Vila Halafihi is in the squad and Dan Fleming also looks certain to be given a chance against his old club.

While AoB & Jimmy are happy with being an 80minute hooker, I think the inclusion of Halafihi shows that we're thinking of going for hooker interchange for our run of 3 games in 8days. Which seems reasonable.

I would start Blythe at centre. He's had game time recently, just needs more of it.

Also this run of 3 games, Batley & Fev at home, followed by Hunslet away, needs to be 3 good, consistent, concentrated performances. No scoring 3 tries in 15minutes, taking a rest for the next 50 minutes, then another 3 tries in 15minutes to finish off. I think the coaching team have made sure that they know its not acceptable. Build pressure, look after possession, respect the opposition, no throwing the ball about on a wing & a prayer, be ruthless.

2 home games. Fortress Odsal. Chance to go top of the table. Good performance demanded.

has luaki got a knock or just being rested?. Seems odd that hes been mediocre all season yet seemed jimmy wouldn't leave him out and give one of other props a chance yet as soon as he has a good game and makes some impact he's left out next game.
Expect someone to miss out who doesn't deserve dropping to accomodate Walker.

Really looking forward to this and want to see the team looking like a team that really wants it. Yes taking the foot of the pedal has to stop!

Put the excuse that Gaskell is not playing in the bin and hope the players will have absolute confidence in themselves as individuals and as a team.

Actually I am happy Walker is in there for Leadership.

Bizarre lineup announced. Shaw on wing mendeika at fullback Blythe in halves. Hope it's a cocky people and its mendeika in halves shaw at fb and Blythe on wing.

The more games I see the ess sure I am that we are going up this year and Jimmy is the man to take us there, another abject performance scattered with God spells as usual.

Strange team selection any news on seijka? We used our back up 6 (I'm assuming thats what mendeika is) at fb and put a centre in the halfs I really don't understand it at all, we where lost for large periods of that game, fev will be a struggle on weds as will Sheffield and Leigh is gonna be a mullering on our recent performances unless we sort out quick I'd like to see some of our other players Davies and samir will do a similar job to crossley and I dint see why we brought him in, we could lose a couple of players and it make no difference to the squad and bring in another 7 (provided we find one ) instead of having players to play for other teams it just all confuses me a little bit.

We do really need to shape up or it will be a long hard season next year and the super 8s
