If Sammut was on such a big wage how come Workington can afford him. Only a fool would take a large paycut. So are Wakey paying the rest of his wages.
Webster was told there was no money for new players, now 4 come in plus Brian Smith, yet now we hear you are backpeddling on ground rent.
Don't have a clue, you would have to ask Mr Carter or the Workington chairman for an answer to those questions.
As for B Smith I assume a large part of his wages would come from the freeing up of Webster's salary, of the 4 players coming in presumably those wage will come from the departed Paea, Collis, and Sammut, realistically 3 of those I would imagine would not be top earners as for Locke draw your own conclusions there, He'll be looking to set himself up with a new club next season where ever that is, as for his wages for the next 12 games you can only speculate on those, as I see both Locke and the club are doing each other a favour, as for back peddling on ground rent there is a perfectly reasonable explanation, whatever your thoughts are on the matter, on the Wakefield board under the appropriate thread.
