Siejka sidelined for 10 weeks : Tue Apr 14, 2015 4:05 pm
Confirmed on the Bulls website.Harry Siejka has been ruled out for up to 10 weeks after suffering an ankle injury.
The Australian half-back sustained syndesmosis damage and a fractured tibia during Sunday's victory over London Broncos.
The 23-year-old, who arrived at the Provident Stadium last October, will undergo surgery tomorrow and is expected be out of action until July.
Head coach James Lowes is backing the former NRL star to make a swift recovery, insisting his side will miss Siejka's presence.
“It is disappointing to lose Harry for such a lengthy period of time because he was growing in confidence and finding form,” said the Bradford boss, who is sponsored in memory of Joyce Dobby.
“We have cover in the halves but will definitely miss him in the coming weeks and months ahead.
“He will be well looked after, though, and will get the very best treatment. We will see him back in action in the summer.
“Harry's rehabilitation will commence pretty much straight away, with him going under the knife tomorrow, and we will closely monitor his progress.”
