Re: Bradford v London : Mon Apr 13, 2015 7:01 am
I was pretty impressed with our performance given it was the game that can sometimes be a flat performance after a busy Easter schedule. Painfully slow PTB, absolutely no policing of the onside/offside and the conditions meant it was never going to be free flowing rugby. As Lowes stated in his after match interview, next weeks game will no doubt be refereed under different application of the rules. What happens in the middle 8 is anyone's guess but it will be a shock for the SL clubs if it's played at Championship pace.

Clough, Sidlow and Pitts were all outstanding for us. Not convinced by Henry at centre, hope one of Baille/Purtell fit for the cup match. Club must be cursing the weather again but I'd say 4k in this conditions is pretty decent to be honest.

I saw that 4000+ ? but then again my eyesight not what is was! Fergy is a really quality player. Thinking about his performances regarding his style, don't you think he has the ability to use a fancy step or two. I mean introducing more set moves for him to come on too? He would make a good hooker ... Or am I really going blind

Ferguson at hooker
Well, that's new one

Cold, rain, blustery wind and an incompetent referee all conspired to prevent much real skill showing through.

It was a win which, as others have said, we ground out and no tries against was pleasing. Suspect the RFL will try to legislate against the cold, wind and rain but still fine those who comment on incompetent referees. If Jimmy can't hold his tongue is anyone else prepared to support a whip round??

I think we could have a small surcharge on ticket price plus a bucket collection. As an alternative we could use the money to encourage Cobb to find something else to do on a weekend......like watch his favourite team every week....money well spent.

Is there not an official complaints procedure for match officials? Through the match commissioner perhaps? Would have more weight if both coaches made it I suppose. And would be cheaper for the coaches too.

Unless the match commissioner is Stevie Wonder, there is no need for any complaint, he will have been wincing and shaking his head in bemusement like everyone else.

Well, I wouldn't be against chipping for some fishing tackle or mountain climbing equipment ...or an air ticket to anywhere, y'know, valid for just before the traffic controllers have another work to rule.

Well having just watched the highlights of Sunday's game, Jay Pitts can count himself extremely unlucky to have his second try ruled out for what Joe Cobb said was a push on a defender. It's one of the softest penalties I've ever seen, and it's a damn good job the match result didn't hinge on a decision like that.

I was talking with Marc Green in the Coral Stand after the game, very impressed with everything he said and his vision for the future

The club seems to be in very safe hands for the future, if anybody deserves promotion this season it's certainly him
