Well, it would seem that with Mullaney and Gaskell linking up well today, and with Shaw's goal kicking, it seems our number 7's "rush of blood" might have cost him more than just a couple of games on the sideline. He's going to have to step up his game when his suspension is up otherwise he might find himself sat on the sidelines

Competition for places is exactly what we need. Siejka should have to fight for his shirt back after today's game.

Putting aside his goal kicking I thought he had a good game generally. He wasn't put under a huge amount of pressure but he worked very hard and wasn't afraid to take the ball up from the tap on the 20.

Re his goal kicking, on that showing he is quite easily the best we have at the club. Knocking over some of those conversions from the touchline in such windy conditions was excellent skill. And the one his missed hit the post.

I think we can add Chev Walker to the list of players who have to earn their place. Once Addy/Petersen are back fit, there really isn't a place for him in the side.

I feel that Chev Walker has a broader remit than just as a player.. As Club Captain his input is all about skill, experience,morale and helping our young players along the way. It goes without saying he has been a fantastic servant to the game and to our Club.

Oh absolutely. Right now he is a model professional. I have no problem with him being club captain and our media representative. I just think he's way down the pecking order when it comes to team selection.

Shaw did well and made the most of his opportunity. I would have thought he would have been targeted by Fev kickers a bit more.
As for Chev I don't think he is written off after 2 games....can see him being bench forward for some games. It's all about taking the chance when it's there. I thought Ulugia took his chance we'll.
