It still makes me chuckle when I think back to the Oldham pre-season game, where he was introducing the fans race at half time and commented on the Oldham fan being from where's Whalley and if he won the race he'd get a matching hat and glasses.

Does anyone know anything about Alex Simmonds radio show,my lads told me him and Liam Sutcliffe and Josh Walters are guests on his show tonight

I listen to it online and it's very good. He might not be everyones cup of tea as a gameday presenter, but I think the fact that he's trying to add to the games exposure with his radio show and now TV show are testament to the blokes passion for the game.

It's also very obvious that he understands that the players are a valuable asset, and there are some real characters in the game who don't get anything like the exposure that they deserve.

Its great banter 7-9 Mondays and Simmons is brilliant on the show. The camaraderie between the players of ALL clubs should be a lesson to us fans. The current vile barrage of insults on social media between fans of different clubs I find sickening.
As fans of Rugby League we should cut out the insults and attacks on each other and support the players on the pitch. Rant over.

The TV show is well worth a watch with the second programme on Wednesday 8-9.30 Sky free - channel 428. The first one had a classic sketch by Wayne Godwin aka Waggataurus taking off the likes of Amor & Foster. Classic RL players banter all the way a welcome relief from them eejits Stevo & Eddie.

I listened to his radio show last night and I thoroughly enjoyed it

My lad was a guest on it and I got a couple of mentions so I suppose that made it more interesting for me, overall I thought it was very decent
