All irrelevent though as the post i linked to was in relation to guilfoyle deciding who his preferred bidder was and ignoring other bidders - which seems to be the course he was pursuing in our case as well until the public meeting forced him to acknowledge the other potential investors.

You may have your suspicions but I really don't think the evidence stretches that far. I don't think making statements to the press asking bidders to come forward and then attending a public meeting which he didn't need to attend would support the conclusion he was seeking a private arrangement with a preferred bidder to serve some ulterior motive i.e a seperate and prior agreement with Chris Caisley.

When history comes to be written, the defining moment in all this sorry saga might just prove to be the Intervention? And I'm not talking about Caisley's disastrous Intervention before Easter, but the one on Monday from the audience.

My thoughts entirely.
Whatever the Guide Post meeting was supposed to be about its opened a real can of worms almost by accident... or serendipity.
Guilfoyle's best laid plans blown out of the water by accepting to speak at a public open meeting
with no real agenda where questions could come from anyone on any subject.
And they did. Boy did they!
All this in the full glare of the local and wider media.

Agree with one of your posts elsewhere that Guilfoyle's assertion that he was unaware of other offers as he had not read his mail has no credence. His Joint Administrator, Chris White, would have been automatically copied in. Did they both miss all of these offers?
Singular professional negligence, double professional negligence, or collusion?

What offers are you talking about? From who? By what form? You might not like Guilfoyle or what he's done but to suggest a man at the heart of conspiracy which by its nature he wishes to keep secret, would turn up to a public meeting to answer questions which he cannot predict from an audience he cannot control is just daft. To do so while Martyn Sadler has made public 2 consortiums ARE about to bid makes zero sense.

As of tonight there are currently Four bids on the table - with Two of those 'highly serious'.

Two of the Four bids have had to approach the Rugby Football League - because Mr Guilfoyle and his associate simply wouldn't return the Two parties calls and emails.

I'm not about to break confidentiality on any of the bidders, but one was in attendance at the DW on Friday, and I'm not talking about members of the Caisley consortium.

Without knowing the identities of people behind the consortia it's difficult to judge but I can't help but hope the buyer is someone completely new but with a real passion for the Bulls. Obviously any investment is welcome if they have the best interests of the Bulls at heart though.

The phrase politically correct is in itself politcally incorrect so should be rephrased politically stupid!

If you like old type radio comedy/ dramas etc listen to //pumpkinfm.com/

Statistically speaking you have a better chance of getting dead the older you get!

I think its becoming increasingly obvious that Guilfool is starting to go round in ever decreasing circles and not the straightforward path to administration hatched with the Caisley Cohorts, which was hijacked by a successful pledge! He has been very disengenuous and unprofessional to date with his actions, I can't believe he still doesn't realise that Sporting businesses such as Clubs with large Fanbases are going to allow him to conduct his business quietly and without much publicity. Plan A has gone spectactularly wrong and as this the Bulls no Plan B as yet!

Re: Is it time for the RFL... : Thu Jul 05, 2012 7:09 am
I don't think we will ever know if there really was a plan in the background here, and while it is possible BG might have had some initial ideas in mind because of his previous contacts and the people making his appointment, he is still bound to get the best deal for the creditors - who have powerful legal redress if it was found that he had failed to maximise their returns.

I suspect the more mundane explanation to what has happended in the last few weeks - and indeed the last few years - is that none of the clubs various shareholders had the money to fund the clubs aspirations and activities - and in the same way are struggling to find the funding to put a bid into the BG. Yes I am sure there all earn well above the average salary - but they don't have a few hundred thousand lying around.

So the big question going forward, whatever the outcome - is still going to be how do you fund a club in Bradford which can meet the aspirations of the fans - or do these apsirations have to change to acknowledge the reality of the funding available? A question I think being asked of the majority of professional sports clubs at the moment.
