I think the existing club will go bust.
A newco will then emerge owned by some of the current shareholders and will buy the assets, not that we have many.
Newco will then try to limp along for the rest of the season. Those players that cannot get a job anywhere else, a few juniors and part time players from the lower leagues will play out the rest of the season. The RFL will agree a reduced rent for Odsal for the rest of the season. The backroom and coaching staff will be pared to the bone. Seasoncards will not be honoured but seasoncard holders will be offered discounted admission.
At the end of the season Newco will negotiate with the RFL and the other clubs over which league the club plays in and which stadium the club plays in. The club may be allowed to remain in SL if it looks viable, or more viable than the alternatives. Or it may drop into a lower league. Then its anyone's guess.
