Many of us on here weren't even old enough to know what was going on back then! What have we done wrong?
Oh, just let the sad twwat vent his bitter spleen, what difference does it make? he doesn't care about that! Everyone can see he's just a bitter saddo, and if it makes him happy, then at least on the day our club dies we can be glad we were able to make the miserable pillock's day.
I tell you what was sad, pre 95 i used to go to every Rovers game with my dad and uncles big family affair then it all stopped after 95 because they all became disillusioned and Caisleys remark was the final nail they though whats the point. Leaving me going by myself, now that was very sad for me
And that was one of the levels of sadness I was referring to. I wasn't belittling your situation, I understand your pain (I also happen to be a Halifax Town fan too!) but I fail to understand the logic or rationale in you having a go at Bradford fans today or any other day.

Maybe not, but your not stupid so dont you wonder how on earth you got a licence and "b" at that i mean who went through your accounts Stevie Wonder. You must be able to see the whole system is corrupt and a farce. Would be funny if it meant some famous old clubs wernt stuck in a division men in suits wont let them get out of.The annoying thing is after all this you will still be in the top flight and Rovers can win the Championship 10 years in a row and we wont. NOW THAT IS SAD, but the Bradford fans even the young ones will see nothing wrong with this system because after all it doesnt effect them does it

HURT you dont know the meaning of the word, we were kicked out of the top flight after finishing 7th in 95 for "the good of the game"
Fev finished eleventh in 1994/95 and, like all the clubs below them in the league (Hull, Salford, Wakefield, Widnes, Doncaster), failed to make the cut for SL which was eventually comprised of the ten clubs above them plus Paris and London.
If you have been convincing yourself for the past 17 years that Fev were somehow singled out and plucked from a mid-table position then I'm afraid you're very wrong. No doubt they were unlucky and the process was hardly ideal, but the choice of the existing teams to go into SL was based purely on league table at the end of the 94/95 season. Featherstone were eleventh in the table and there were ten spots available.

Had that system been in place at the season start then fine but it wasnt, Rovers were evicted for Paris and promised if they failed we would be back in, the promise wasnt kept followed by Caisleys knife in the back remark
I've read some right gash on these forum's(??) in my time but this thread is absurd. The one thing that unites this game, indeed the only reason we have the game is the supporters. If anything unites fev fans with bulls fans or wakey for that matter, is the way we have all been let down by the people running our clubs or running our game. For the fan of one club to berate the fans of another in difficult circumstances is very poor, i would argue if that is your view, you are not a fan of the game. Some fans and clubs sale close to the wind, and sometimes are ready to be knocked down a peg, but this thread is a joke as IMO is the OP.

Im no fan of this corrupt game and its selfish fans. Its the most corrupt sport in the UK as will be proved when the new Bradford stay in super league
At the end of the 94 season Doncaster were liquidated and reformed in the third tier (todays equivalent being CC1). Featherstone had the chance to be in Super League by merging with Castleford, but both clubs rejected this and chose to go it alone.

Your point is? My last word on the matter, you never know you may just merge with Halifax and be known as "the Halifax Bull Soxs"
