Latest financial situation - all posts here : Thu Jun 07, 2012 10:55 pm
I've posted pretty regularly on here for a couple of years now, and I've been ridiculed, agreed with, embarrassed, and most of the the time I've been right  through it all like most people on this board I just wanted to support my team.

There will be news in the next few days that has proved some of us right again, there will be no administration thanks to a benefactor (not investor, that's important), there will be breathing space for the club to move forward and shape itself anew with homegrown talent at the fore.

So as I've said before time to get behind everyone at the club and move forward, I'm running with the Bulls cos we're really gonna be alright!

Let's really hope so, I hope that this topic is one where we can celebrate,no arguments and we can stArt to discuss next season, contracts and the play offs!
Even the situation hasnt been good and lack of information has caused arguments, fans have rallied behind the team, and with a bit of luck and positive news, it may even sell more season tickets, i think people realise now what the bulls mean to them and appreciate what a season ticket really should cost.
Come on you Bulls!!!

Good news if true.

But "benefactor" rather than "investor" suggests to me that its a one off donation (comparable to the fans' pledge) rather than an ongoing commitment to the club. A solution to the immediate crisis and very welcome if it is. But does it resolve the fundamental problems, the ongoing losses?

If it does come off, I hope we will still see the conclusions of the Board's Strategic Review. Some indication of the long term strategy, in particular future season ticket prices.

Agree entirely. Regarding the strategic review, relatively the Bulls is a small operation, I would have thought this could have been completed in a couple of weeks if necessary. Or are the new BoD still waiting to decide where to point the finger?

The phrase politically correct is in itself politcally incorrect so should be rephrased politically stupid!

I think they realise it always points to the Caisley Cohorts no matter which direction you start!

i have heard this 2. the guy that told me is normally right about stuff like signings, he got is from a very reliable source and it is true that stephen coulby met all the players yesterday. I will only believe it when i see it though. Hope its true but is a very strong rumour.

It's brilliant news - if true, but as yet it remains a just post on the internet.

As for the review I doubt that much will come to light to be honest, since much of it will be of a confidential business nature. Though it would be nice to be told - officially - that we're coming out of the other side.
