Another potential banana skin. Any sort of win would do me, preferably with continuation of improved defense we saw last week. Any game where Nobles involved for other team makes me nervous.

We are talking about Lauaki only playing 27 minutes.
How many people are impressed with Moi Moi over at Leigh. He only seems to play short stints and in the two games I have seen him I can't remember him breaking a tackle. They seem to tackle him as well as other forwards.
Are these players here for their "big names" rather than what they actually do on the field.

I do think that Lauaki is being slowly getting prepared for the middle 8s rather than doing it right now.

I'm not exactly blown away with Sidlow and Clough. I keep hearing they're consistent but for the most part it's nothing more than consistently OK. Sidlow's impact is actually decreasing. I'm coming to the conclusion that our entire starting front row is playing too many minutes to any real purpose. Fleming, Crossley, Tahrouie, Lauaki (on Saturday anyway) all make more impact.

AoB is a dynamic, line breaking runner so we've got him making 35+ plus tackles for 80 minutes every week. I'm not entirely getting this.

I agree with you in that Sidlow isn't catching the eye of late compared with earlier in the season. I know Lowes is aiming for consistency and you don't get that by chopping and changing but I would expect a bit more rotation than we're seeing. It's a long season.

Good to see Halifhi in the squad. I really wish Karl could get in, we have had this convo about rotation. I am baffled really. Shaw is starting to be a really important contributor. Its a big game ...

Agreed,, although our recent fixtures have been a tough period (Sheffield at home, Whitehaven away, Fax at Blackpool and now London away) don't think this was the time to rotate the squad. All tough games those.

Doncaster at home I would like to see plenty of changes and see Halafihi, Petersen, Tahrahoui, Davies and Blythe get a run out. Give Gaskell, Pitts, O'brien, Clough, Sidlow a rest.

Having said all that we did have a week off recently with the cup, so shouldn't be too fatiguedX
