Surely scrutons call up means we have to give a debut to one of the burgii/crossley at crusaders?

cant see scruton backing up and lynch is obviously carrying a knock so we cant expect him to even do his usual stint, let along trying to carry pack on his own. Hopefully langley will be back but even if he is we'll some more muscle on bench especially in donno's absence.

Gutted, I'm surprised that Macca has the front to pick any Bulls players thus weakening them for a crucial league match. Does he have no loyalty at all anymore?

apparently not,rumour has it that macca orinally wanted a tough/close game against the french and was thinking about putting sheriffe in to even things up a bit!
however he decided not to tempt fate too much and actually include him as he didn't want to be sacked after only one match in charge
needless to say that sheriffe will be available for selection for the bulls!

For the first time in memory there's not a player in there that makes me think HTF did he get picked? So praise to Macca. Though Bridge will never be big enough, nor quick enough, to be a world class centre. But he's the form GB centre. ANd he knows where the line is.

re the earlier comments about Roby...(that he's good at super league standard but not at a higher standard)....I entirely agree with these but don't forget, we're playing France who, arguably, are just about the standard of an average super league side. So Roby would likely impress against them....but not against the Aussies.
