The Rules Committee has met in emergency session and decided that even though only a moron would fail to understand that no tiebreaker question is actually needed, nevertheless tiebreaker will be set, due to popular demand (i.e. you bleedin asked for it) and further, if either entrant fails to answer the tiebreaker questions he/she shall be heavily penalized.

OFFICIAL TIE BREAKER QUESTIONS
1. What colour undercrackers will be worn by the person sitting in the North Stand, Tier 1 Lower, Block N1408, Row PP, Seat 138

2. What is the weight of 16 Brazilian anacondas?

Let's be serious now, this is a valued competition and we should treat it as such.

1st. tie breaker, looking at my ex-wife's ticket, I was amazed to find that she holds this ticket for that seat, I was amazed at this coincidence.
So the answer to tiebraker 1 is...None, no colour, she never wore Knickers when we were together.
2nd. tie breaker.. approx. 560 kgms....as I've carried one around inside my underpants for 71 years...

Good luck to my opponent...May the best man have won already....me....  :thumb:

Re: RAB Challenge Cup 2016 : Fri Sep 09, 2016 5:25 pm
The extraordinary session of the Rules Committee has just finished its deliberations.

Fevxr2i predicted Hull 20 Wire 24
That is, a Wire win by 4 points, and total points 44

jackmac452 rather mischievously posted exactly the same prediction, the tinker.

This could have brought into play the Tie Breaker Tie Breaker - Which minute will 1st. try be scored in?

If so, then jackmac452 would be the winner, as he made a prediction (11th), whereas Fevxr2i didn’t bother. The first try was of course in the 36th minute.

However, a rule of the Final was “If any identical predictions are made then the person who made it first gets priority.”

With the assistance of much Paracetamol, the final ruling is as follows:

1. Both contestants predicted a Warrington win by 4. Fevxr2i did so first, and so would have won on priority. But the prediction was wrong so neither player scores.

2. Both predicted the same total points. This meant whoever was closest to the actual points would be the winner. The total points scored was 22 so both are equally close. Or distant.

3. However, Fevxr2i posted his tiebreaker first, and so wins the Title on priority and we don’t need to go to the tiebreaker tiebreaker. That would only have been needed had both contestants posted their tiebreaker answer simultaneously.

Therefore, the Winner,

Rubbish, You and your committee changed the rules and I answered them correctly.. this decision is diabolical and I demand a retrial. I could never beat my opponent to be the first to give my decision as I lived 7k. up a mountain in the jungle, with limited internet to voice my findings.
I answered all the tiebreaker questions to the best of my ability and clearly had won. It was not my fault you changed the rules half way through. Someone has said that there is a rumor you are a closet Featherstone supporter, ( or was it, just a closet?) I forget now.
Anyway, I disagree with your finding most vehemently..
This Sunday will be the first time I will go to Odsal for 9 years and I'm looking forward to it very much. My son played in the same team as Ross(and Liam now at Leigh) and he always looked a good lad, I sincerely hope he does well..  :ROCKS:

Rule 187(5))(ii)
"(a) Any party seeking a retrial/appeal must first lodge a retrial fee of £50 with FA in a brown envelope
(b) Make it £500 and you can also enclose a note of the result of the retrial/appeal."
