Mugwump mocking mental illness for a second time -

"You are mentally ill and I can't indulge your madness any more"

Utter disgusting abusive remark from a keyboard warrior

I've not been for a while Just for the fact I'm bored and don't enjoy it anymore. Very rare I'll watch the games on sky unless it could be entertaining rugby on show.

I'm season ticket holder too.

I nearly packed it in around Easter Time, then Fages came into the side and we played a bit better, now I'm back to packing it in again and perhaps end up as a fickle fan. Definitely not renewing my season ticket the club would have to come up with 4 or 5 top signings to do that, I'm still going to most games but Im losing the will when I see how the team plays but KC comes up with something completely different to what I"ve just seen.

The top and bottom of the matter at the moment as far as I'm concerned is, there's a few very happy fans, (and Sky) and a vast majority, the rest, who are totally fed-up. If anyone thinks this is good for the game, a levelling down, then I would strongly disagree. There's only so many times that David beating Goliath is entertaining, especially when Goliath is really only another David. I want Goliath v Goliath back. I want normal service resumed! This season is fast becoming a complete scrub-out. What a blow-out if we get David v David in a third full GF.
:DEPRESSED: :SLEEPY:

I've always liked Saints and they have always been my favourite other team.

However, as Hull fan it reads like you want your cake and eat it.

If normal service is four teams dominating the league for a decade, would you now be happy if say Catalans, Warrington, Castleford and Hull now dominated the league for the next decade?

No one has a right to live in the top four. This season we have had the most competitive league since the Super League was created. After years of not being consistantly competitive, Hull have raised their game this season and are beginning to perform consistantly.

Ironically the only game we have lost in the past two months was against bottom of the table Leeds, who deserved to win on the night. Along with Wakefield's demolition of Wigan, Cas comfortably beating Warrington, Hull KR winning well at Leeds etc, it just shows anyone can beat anyone this season. Before the Magic Weekend, it was feasible that all six matches could have gone either way, probably a first in Super League.

I appreciate that Saints aren't playing as well or as consistantly as in previous seasons, but that is now for Saints to raise their game, not for others to lay down and let Wigan, Leeds, Bradford and you to return to all the finals and take it turns to win the silverware. That's unless the four of you are planning to leave and create your own 'Goliath' Super League?

This Saturday, Hull fans know we have to turn up and play well to beat St Helens, otherwise we'll lose the position we've worked so hard to a achieve at this part of the season.

If we manage to keep our form going and meet one our fellow 'David's' in the GF, I can assure you we'll more than fill a third of the Stretford End. Saints may have had significantly more success than Hull, but I think you'll find our attendances have at least always been on a par with yours.

We look forward to seeing you and your 2,500 away fans on Saturday (just like what we brought to you in the Cup).

Saints fans are not the best when things are not on track, but you have to understand it's not the losing, it's the absolute poop rugby league saints are offering up every week.
Lms seems to be the only player that cares, Wilkin blows hot and cold, Roby has been run into the ground, lomax offers a glimmer of hope as does fages, but this has to be the worst coached saints team I have seen.

Was the Royce Simmons team this bad???

And KC has quoted he is in charge of recruitment. The legend has to go or be given another role with a saints standard experienced coach that can bring the entertainers tag back to saints.
Even the neutral fans miss the old style of saints.

On a side note, salary cap and general marketing for rugby league is a huge issue for the standard of the game. Also commentary on sky needs improving.
Super league as a whole should be a much bigger product by now.

We'll surely Hull can't be as lucky as Huddersfield were last Sunday !!

You shipped 48 pts to a team tied for bottom place but I stand by what I said first game of the season it is one of the worst Saints team I have seen in over 50 years of watching.

Maybe it's from years of watching try fests and constant defeat at Knowsley Road but that sparkle just isn't there at the moment.

I'm not having a go it's just an honest observation.

Not being able to get to the match very often (if at all), I tend to rely on Sky's coverage to keep up with Saints. I am currently mulling over cancelling the Sports package. The football season is over and Saints just bore the @rse off me. My girlfriend, who was really up for following Saints with me when we started dating rarely shows any interest in watching them now either.

It may not cost the club money in terms of ticket revenue lost, but Eammon needs to know that he is losing fans; fans that have followed the team for the majority of their lives and spent a hell of a lot of money doing so.

Its all about high standards at this club which in the fully professional era is very much in high demand by the supporter base. There is also the style "Saints Way" of playing the game with or without high profile players. All the criticism last season and this season is our attitude, effort, commitment etc which is seriously lacking be it recruitment, coaching, players this is very much when we are winning as well as losing.
For the last 20 years Saints have been a top 4 club and the supporters are now sending the message out to the club that this slippage is not acceptable, Wigan and Leeds are now going through a similar scenario, the main reason is probably the quality of players available. The less profile clubs have recruited very well but they are not a good enough quality to raise the standard of Superleague.
For example I would like to see a better quality player playing this season who are superior than these who all played in the same seasonal era.

Keith Senior
Martin Gleeson
Iestyn Harris
Lee Briers
Sean Long
Stuart Fielden
Kieran Cunningham
James Graham
Adrian Morley
Gareth Hock
Paul Sculthorpe
Jamie Peacock
Kevin Sinfield
Paul Anderson

And these are just british players, overseas players are just the same.

Hull and Catalan look the more consistent teams so far and bar any injuries should be in the semis for the Grand Final. For us we need to do a Hull and lock out KC from the dressing room preferably for a month rather than the one game.
