"...the biggest boor, the most opinionated pompous bigot that frequents these
boards and he is NOT to be taken at all seriously. "

Saints v Widnes : Sun Jun 28, 2015 3:11 pm
Credit where credit's due: that was a hell of a try by Swift. I hope he has a great game today to erase memories of last week. Good start.

We're in danger of getting burned here. We're not showing the urgency needed in a cup tie.

I thought that you looked very slow out of the blocks in both 1st and 2nd halves. But with the good fortune that comes with being a class side, you rode your luck and got the result. I'm sure you will put on a better performance at HQ on Friday.

We was poor. The pack was beaten today. Hard luck on Widnes tho they played well. Kev Brown showed our halves how a half shouid play and on one leg.

Thought Widnes played very well today. they were more hungry and controlled the game for 60 out of the 80 mins. Like Betts mentioned they lost a bit of composure at times, in the Challenge Cup its sometimes down to Lady Luck, we got a chunk of that today, but the end of the day its about scoring points and got those more through individual play rather than good team work.

For sale thirty brand new suits, made in 2007 never been worn but rather tear stained.
Apply to Wigan warriors rented accommodation.

2 nil will get you a win
30 nil will get you a win
75 nil is absolute humiliation.

How good is Kevin Brown? Every time I see him he's causing havoc in the opposition defence. Such an intelligent player.

Widnes were more far more aggressive in that game but I think they'd burnt themselves out by the 65th minute and you always felt that Saints had a few more gears to step up in to.

Percival was superb. Wilkin was excellent, with a few brilliant last ditch tackles. Can't believe I'm gonna say this but Masoe had a big impact and really pulled his weight.

A lot of people slag Dawson off but he showed some decent footwork today. Got dragged in a bit in defence on our line for a couple of tries but I still felt he played really well.

You shouldn't be surprised. Mose has done that in big games since he has been here. He isn't going to graft for 50 or 60 minutes every week. He's an impact player, and he makes an impact when we need it most. He did again today when Widnes had us under the cosh. No amount of grafting would get us out of there, but Mose did what he does, turned the game for us. We will miss Mose far more than people know, particularly in the big games when we need a lift.

Sorry mate but I disagree. He's done it every now and again. When he can be a**sed pulling his finger out he can brilliant but far too often the likes of Walmsley and Amor have had to carry him.

Not gonna slag him off today though. Well done Mose!
