Each season he's been here we've had a mid season slump so I'd be very surprised if you don't have one next season. Everyone at the Giants knew he was leaving this season and that was sorted a long time ago way before you announced him as coach for next season. The problem we've had recently is that he chops and changes the team week in week out playing players out of position then apologising for another poor performance saying it won't happen again then low and behold saying the same thing again the week after.
I for one will be glad to see the back of Brown and the circus that follows him of will he or won't he rumours surfacing ever April/May time about him going back to Australia!!!! Good luck with him you might need it.
The fact that Brown has been powerless to either stop the slump from occurring in the first place, particularly after realizing that it was becoming an annual event. Or once in the mire, pull Huddersfield out of it, must raise questions about his ability as a coach.
It does appear as an outsider that he makes the same mistakes time and time again which is bad enough. But the fact that he hasn't learn his lesson and changed tack, again raises question marks over his ability.
Certainly Huddersfield haven't progressed on the field like they should have done. They've stagnated suffering from the same problems season in season out.
I liked Brown a couple of season's ago, so much so I'd have had him at Wigan but not any longer. These past few months have really knocked a lot of value off the stock that is Nathan Brown.
