I would of kept him even though he is rather inconsistent. Interesting he wouldnt sign a 3 year deal with us and then signed a 2 with yourselfs. £££ possibly. On his day you have a great player, he's not had many injuries either. So hopefully he won't start to get them any time soon for you.

You have to laugh at the numpties who'd rather we kept Dixon instead of signing Manu, you really do. Bless their clueless, empty little minds...

The only issue is his age, but a 2 year contract is just about right. A good bit of business by Saints, and the inexorable march towards an awesome, old, overseas pack and mediocre, young, domestic backline continues apace. I wonder what style of play we'll be aiming for next season...

Excellent signing. On a very good length of deal. Over joyed. Brilliant. He's going to be 34 in his final year. Big deal.
Will provide the pack with the type of player we need. Roby and Lomax should be tearing through defences next year off the back of some of his offloads.

I cant believe the numpties who think signing over the hill players and letting go of young talent is the sign of good business sense????

It's frightening, isn't it.

Although, I do suspect that some are simply holding this line as it allows them to gather more 'evidence' to support criticism of the current regime (board, coach, appointment of future coach etc).

Hull offered him a 3 year deal and a deal to make him one of the best paid players at the club.

Do those questioning us offering him a two year deal believe they are more knowledgable than the people running both Hull FC and Saints?
