Timing seems right doesn't it as these rumours are rarely without any substance. McManus said he wouldn't have another overseas coach after Brown.
But one thing all fans are united on is that the core weakness of Cunningham's coaching was a risk-averse, boring gameplan which left us apparently unable to put together an effective attack, let alone an exciting one.
So how in God's name would replacing him with McNamara, a coach who has long been criticised for a risk-averse, boring gameplan which left his teams apparently unable to put together an effective attack, let alone an exciting one ?
