As an outsider looking in he looks a truly terrible player. I've not seen much of him before this season but he looks way way out of his depth.

Surely questions need to be asked about who at the club authorised his signing?

He is absolutely abysmal but he is not on his own, Luke Walsh put in one of the worst halfbacks performance i have witnessed and Jon Wilkin actually gave up. He should retire with immediate effect.

Owens was a lot more solid dealing with kicks this week but defensively he doesn't look to have a tackle in him and his kick offs were killing you.

Never a full back of the quality a club like St Helens requires.

I watched both coached being interviewed and the difference was immense. KC talking about how unfortunate things were and Robinson showing how tiny changes can make the difference in how a play turns out. Apart from Wilkin and Walsh I can't fault the effort but it was mindless; just aggression.

I think we're seeing the reason he was never able to hold down a regular spot for Widnes. It was either pure arrogance from Cunningham in believing he could turn him into a player or pure cheapness from McManus and his cronies.

I said it at the time, shocking signing and one that proves the club just simply doesn't give two hoots about being successful.
