I suppose it depends how many players should be in a Hall of Fame, but if you include Webb you'd have to include Kylie, and in terms of performances in GFs Lee Smith probably outdid Webb - MoM as his stand in one year plus good performances from wing and centre in two others. You could also argue Scott Donald would be about level with Webb as well.
Given that in terms of success (i.e. major trophies) 2004-17 dwarfs any comparable period, it ought not to surprise people if it seems overrepresented in the Hall of Fame.
If you're looking a bit wider than a Hall of Fame then all of the above ought to be in with a shout. I've still got the '100 Best Players' book from 2004. so many in there should be replaced by players from the Golden Era. There are a bunch of players from the Golden Generation who should definitely get in a revised edition above and beyond the obvious Hall of Famers.
