Absolutely I'm fine with my kids being exposed to that type of environment, because they're taught what is acceptable and at what times. It's words, that's all.. sticks and stones and all that. There are things that are acceptable to be said and done in different environments and as a parent, it's my job to make sure my kids know what is appropriate and when. Kids don't need to be wrapped in cotton wool all the time.
There are lots of things that go on in the real world that I wouldn't want my kids to do and there's no way I can stop them from witnessing a lot of it, but what I can do is teach them to make informed decisions on what is right and wrong. If you're relying on everyone else to behave in an acceptable manner for fear of them being influenced or to stop your kids behaving badly, you've lost the battle already.
I'd say anyone who has followed the game on this forum since a child and into adulthood has heard and seen much worse over the years (particularly 20/30/40 years ago when racism/homophobia etc were almost the norm), yet not been scarred or had their behaviours influenced by it. We're not all racist, homophobes because we heard some nasty chanting at the rugby. (By no way am I suggesting racism/homophobia is acceptable by the way).

unfortunately the conduct and rhetoric and behavior from a certain person across the pond is making what we called unacceptable normal .
