Started a new thread so as not to derail any existing threads or offend those who have trouble scrolling past posts they don't like...

This weekend could decide the top 4 going into the Super 8s and just to confirm, Sal, this was our charity bet...

So anyway, its £50 to Leeds Foundation then.
If Leeds are in the top 4 after 23 rounds you donate it.
If Leeds are out of the top 4 after 23 rounds I donate it.

You can find the original thread here: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=601480&start=10

If i've got this right then....

If Leeds beat Hull or Wakefield lose this week then that's Leeds in the top 4 and Sal will be donating once again.
If the opposite happens then we'll have to wait for Round 23 to see who's won and who's lost.

Exciting isn't it? Who said every minute doesn't matter!!?

McDermott is going. I actually think he is more relaxed because of it, and seems to have let the shackles go. He apparently asked to finish the season, and that is what they agreed.

Good work fellas however it turns out.

It may not be over for those tipping Leeds to finish in and around the top 4 but it's long been over for those tipping Leeds to miss out on the 8. Ye of little faith - McDermott for president.

I have a feeling that a couple of posters will cry foul, as all the teams below us have been rubbish........and that's the only.......I repeat only........reason why we are where we are.

Start of the season there was an 'Excuses' thread obviously aimed at me and one or two other posters asking what'll be the excuses this year when we inevitably fail (mostly led by William Eve who has convinently disappeared ;) ) and I replied with this prediction....

Let's not forget the excuses if we do well (just pretty much copy + paste 2015's excuses for success.

- we weren't good, everyone else just went backwards
- other teams were hit worst with injuries
- we didn't have to play in the WCC unlike other teams
- we had the easiest cup draw ever
- we had a lucky bounce of the ball
- the players did it for retiring legends (replace Sinfield, Peacock & Leuluai for McGuire, Burrow, JJB)

Pretty much nailing it

Not an issue for me I would be delighted to donate £50 to a very worthwhile charity

After the news of the youngster at Stanley Rangers it cannot be under estimated at the value of these charities and how they support the local community
Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

Very honourable and yes it's incredibly sad what happened.

It's not really about the money though and never has been, either this year or the last time but i'm saying no more until everything's finalised. I don't want to "Do A Sal"® and end up with egg on my face.
