Only one winner for me & that's Andy Murray though I'm not sure about his personality.

Milking it now with 16 finalists just so they don't upset anyone by leaving someone out. Murray will walk it again, at least this year he deserves it with a major win, an Olympic gold and world number 1. Beating much lower ranked opponents in the Davis Cup last year really wasn't deserving of his win. Out of the others I would go for Max Whitlock

I find if you haven't a clue who they are they're usually an Olympian. Think I could probably pick out about 7-8 from that list on sight, a further 3-4 I recognize the name but the rest I've never even heard of.

Firstly, another predictable and calculated snub for our great sport by the BBC. No mention of the heroics of Danny Houghton or Jimmy Keinhorst whatsoever. There were so many amazing things happening in our sport throughout 2016 and not a peep. A disgrace and an outrage, etc.

Secondly, it is to be hoped that anyone involved watching SPOTY this evening won't be adversely affected both physically and emotionally throughout 2017 as a result.

Much as I enjoy watching most sports I can never bear to watch it. Not really sure why ? I watched ' the making of Father Ted' instead !!!
