Played them several times when i was a teenager and the old heads i.e Richardson, old Milner etc... were still playing. Not a nice experience as a young kid when they are offering everyone out during every scrum because they couldn't take getting beaten.

Wasn't so bad in last decade, basically a load of kids trying to live up to the days of old. Infact they could play some good rugby when they wanted, sadly they always seem to revert to old ways as you say.

Are they still going? last time i looked they were forfeiting games due to lack of players.

Yeah they were struggling for a team last season, and that was all because of a mass brawl they started in a game at the end of the 2015 season. I say a mass brawl, I seem to remember quotes from BARLA or someone about it not being a mass brawl, but a mass assault - they had about 8 players receive bans of pretty much a full season and the other team had none.

I have very similar experiences to Biff having experienced playing against the older generation who couldn't play, but frightened everyone to death with sheer thuggery both and and off the field... and then the younger new breed who were better players, not as hard or intimidating, but had the chips on their shoulders and 'expectation' of the older bread to be a team of bullies, so kick off at any given opportunity.

Should have been sent the same way as Redhill and Chequerfields at the same time they were binned off....

Sounds about right. I have no idea how they didn't go the same way as those sides either. I'm pretty sure their Chairman or secretary had some clout at the BARLA or something though when i was playing, and must have had some influence on cushioning the punishments implemented back in the day.

Charming set of thugs they were, not sure what they are like nowadays. I tackled one of them and he promptly sank his teeth into my hand ! ( oh and the alleged Trotters pub incident too )

I didn't play against the old Queens team, but did play against a couple of them lot when they were at Woodhouse a few seasons ago. Got a punch to the back of my head from Richardson coming in as a third man flopping on top on what was an already completed tackle . Although he was doing it to everyone, I wasn't special.

Wasn't it Queens on the video a few years back of the junior players milling/boxing each other at 'training'?
