They could’ve filled the corners in for a start

Still not quite sure why they’d reduced the capacity

more corporate boxes and the premieran dining seats in the main stand, lowered the capacity over all slightly but considerable more corperate.

if something can ever be done with the western terrace the corners can be filled in and that would add more capacity.
don't think we have had a complete sell our for about 10 years or more not since the decline of the Bulls. so unless we where selling out 80-90% of all home games then its not a problem for the time being. if we can get an all seat western terrace and get capacity up to 23-24k then we could get test matches back again.

I am sure as questions will continue to be asked about the Western terrace the club will be also thinking about it ,but given the cost of the present development and the length of time its going to take to pay it off its academic even if they could get planning permission, unless they could get a similar deal to what they have now and lengthen the payoff time.

Yes think that might be 10-15 years down the line minimum. still a bet it gets done before Cas or wakey get the pie in the sky new stadiums. :D

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

Re: Stadium Redevelopment : Wed Dec 06, 2017 2:04 pm
I went up to Headingley yesterday to book seats for the two "home" games at Elland Rd & was only able to fill in a quasi-IF form. I could not select a specific area or seat.
When I queried this I was told that seats would be allocated at a later date.
IMV that is simply not good enough so I sent an email complaining about this to the club.
They had the courtesy to call me back today explaining that because it's not our stadium they don't have a seating plan to allow members to pick a specific seat.
I have a slight disability which means I prefer to have an aisle seat.
I have requested this on the form but don't know until I get to the ground if that is what I'll get.
In this day & age when I can book tickets at venues across the globe where I can choose a specific seat or at least check availability I find the club's response poor.
The club has had ample time to obtain full seating plans from Leeds Utd enabling them to allocate specific seats when asked.

Is this short sightedness or simply being realistic. I suppose sell out SL games are off the agenda and the Rah Rah mob aren’t going to get into 5 figure crowds any time soon.
CC semis don’t get big attendances and we don’t have JPT or CC games to throw into the mix like we once had.
I guess you’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t.

With the test matches though, you won't get Australia as we'd still be too small for that fixtures. NZ a maybe but they can just go to Elland Road if they want one in Leeds and we can't compete with their 35k+. Against any smaller nation then the capacity we're going to have should be ample.

There's WCC's but not guarantees of being involved in them, if they'll be played in England or abroad or if the event carries on at all.

Slightly less standing, but more seating and corporate hospitality space, so matchday revenue should increase.

Where do you find the live cam feed?

Not sure they could. Doing the corners down the Western Terrace you might have the same issues as to why you can't do that stand and looking at an aerial view I don't think their's enough room to do the corner between the South stand and Carnegie, it gets very tight there where the road bends.
