Troubled times ahead : Sun Aug 21, 2016 11:41 am
As long as we win our next 2 games we should avoid the million pound game. But that is far from the conclusion of our problems. Going into next season, we don't have a proper spine in place or this is lot's of uncertaintly surrounding it.We don't know whether hardaker will be back at fullback. If he is, that means sutcliffe who has started to settle at fullback is back in the halves and we await any potential problems with hardaker.
If he isn't, sutcliffe is fullback which leaves us short in the halves, even if mcguire carries on. Even if mcguire carries on, how much will he play? It seems either way a new halfback is needed, on top of what we already have. But who? where from?
At hooker, segeyaro has practically saved us. But you feel as soon as an nrl team comes in, he's gone. That would be a hammer blow. Again who would replace him? where?
Then there's mcdermott. Does the ''surge in form'' ( ) save him?
With pre season on the horizon theres uncertainty around our halves, fullback, hooker and potentially coach. With this in mind, it's going to take us a few season to get things sorted and get another platform in place to challenge.
