Was Falloon forced to agree to move on? Could've easily turned them down.....I'm sure you'll tell us that it would be impossible as GH would've started a vicious mental and physical bullying campaign to humiliate and torture him into leaving.

I think B Mc spoke well in that interview. One thing though - what actually has Segeyaro said? On here and in subsequent clips and discussion online everyone is referring to his comments but not providing specific quotes. Does anyone have a link to them?

Kettle and pot and glass houses - must be tough though with your tongue so far up Gary's booty.

Where you get the idea Leeds have more strike players than Wigan is frankly bizarre - even for you :D

You absolutely did not answer my question, I said that according to you Leeds could pay a significant fee for Roby, only for him to leave us for an NRL club for free a few weeks later. You completely ignore the second part of that sentence, I agree we should pay a fee for Roby, but we also should receive a fee if he left in this hypothetical.

You didn't address the Falloon point directly to me, but I'll answer it now.
What GH (or Mac) did was arguably immoral, but his contract was NOT broken as he was paid out in full, therefore fulfilling our contractual obligation.
What Segeyaro is doing IS breaking contract, that is the difference.

Also the fact you don't think we have a better back line than Wigan shows how ridiculously pessimistic and anti-Leeds you are.

I don't think any point has ever been missed so badly as you just missed mine.

Do you think that it never once occurred to either the coaching team or the players when they were leaking points and losing game after game last season that they might need to improve the defence? When soft try after soft try after soft try were scored against us all season?
As for "everyone knowing their role", talk about stating the bleeding obvious.

Yes, if you can defend very well and everyone knows what they are doing during a game and executes, you're going to win a lot of rugby league games. The trick is getting your players to do it. No team in SL does it consistently and some hardly at all.

What did you think McD wants the team to do? Defend badly and make stuff up as you go along? My you, as that's what they ended up looking like as a team for long periods you do wonder.

Okay well will posit this to you, did it look like the players were clear on the defensive structure and knew their role regarding whether they should push across or hold in defence? did it look like they were all trying 100%?

Wigan, do defend well consistently and it has allowed them to still win many games when not playing well

My point is that if we can't get Segeyaro and don't have the played we want, we can still be successful by spending nearly all of our training time on defence (as Wane admitted Wigan did last year), keeping the tries conceded to a minimum and using our edge strike players to grab tries here and there.
Its not pretty rugby, but I don't think Mac (or GH) have any real excuses why we can't challenge this year, Segeyaro or not.

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

The point I made about a transfer is simple did Leeds pay a transfer fee for Segeyaro as your example of Roby - the answer to that is no. So why should Leeds be entitled to one given the investment they made in Segeyaro?

Wigan had Charley, Manfred, Gelling and Sargison I would suggest that is equally as good a back line as ours - the fact you can't see that shows just how blinkered you opinions are

The point about I was making about Falloon is simply that if Leeds don't want somebody that is a tangible example of how they treat them. You can't take the moral high ground when you behaviour comes from the gutter. This is not the first time either we can go all the way back to Sheridan/Hay etc. To see what the club and the CEO do when they want rid of players.

You naivety is duly noted - I have never mention bullying, or torture your imagination is getting the better of you as is often the case.

If you think Leeds treated Falloon as they should and how you would like the YMG or whoever you work for to treat you then your self respect is even lower than your posts would suggest.

I have no inside information, but what makes you think Falloon was treated badly by the club?

As for transfer fees they have never been about how much a club has invested in a player. They exist because there is a market for players under contract. The value is a club agreeing to release a player from their contract in return for payment. Its nothing at all to do with Segeyaro or anyone else as an individual.

Falloon was here for a year as a stop gap, hardly tearing up a 3 year bumper deal. He was released with little more than a few months to run with no chance of playing in the team at the time he left. It is also very likely he was paid up those last few months to accept this 'mutual termination' to accommodate the arrival of Segeyaro, after all, nothing has come out to the contrary since and if i had been pooped on i would be letting people know it.

Considering your "humiliate him out of the club" nonsense then it was the next step up to expect from you.

There's nothing wrong with either side, club or player wanting to move on. But if the other side doesn't agree then the club/player should respect that. For all your complaints about Achurch we kept him and played him. Look at Mourinho's treatment of Schweinsteger (spelling?) at Man Utd to see a true example of a club trying to force someone out of the door and humiliate him.

He was brought over with his family - the club clearly decided it had made a mistake, they even played a junior when he was fit to play.

Whatever you might think he was a hell of lot better player than Hallas at that point. What does that say to the player and to Aussies coming here - no wonder Leeds are unable to attract the quality of player the likes of Wigan, Saints and Warrington can from down under.

As soon as Segeyaro appeared he was on a plane back home having been hardly given a chance to settle into a team that was in complete disarray.

If you think that is how employees should be treated good for you.
