Believe that when I see it. He's the big fish in a small pond at Huddersfield, which suits his ego. He wouldn't be that at Leeds.

Good decision to keep him. Yes he's given away more penalties than we would like but that will happen in a struggling team who couldn't win collisions and slow PTB's down. But he's gives us over 100m in attack most games and not many back rowers about who can give you that. He can offload a bit but not seen it be effective too much again because of the teams struggles and he's starting to pop up with a few tries which we don't get many of from our backrowers.

Also with Ward, Ablett and Delaney missing a lot of games then he has had to do a lot more work than ideal. With other starting back rowers back to share the load then could help him play better.

He'd look far better in a Leeds team being led round by a decent half back.

this contract was actually agreed/signed when he first joined the club this year from the giants
he was always going to be taking up the cap space of the departing achurch

I see Hetheringtons already saying there will be no more signings for 2017 (the usual - squad is fully signed BS) If so hes planning for another season of failure and decline. If he cant see we are crying out for an experienced high quality half back the man is a fool.

if no one is retiring early or leaving the club whilst still under contract at the end of this season then i guess that our cap allowance is taken for 2017

If it does remain as is now we won't be having a year like this, but i struggle to see us doing any better than Saints are this year, maybe a scrape into the four but not challenging for honours. disappointed if true but it may speed up the coaching change. we will see
