Will be interesting to see if it disrupts them. 4 points ahead of 5th place Saints and Saints have to play Warrington (H) & Catalans (A) in the next two weeks. Should be the time the top 4 pull away from the pack and Wigan's fixtures of Salford, HKR & Widnes presents them with a great chance but this off field stuff could be costly.

It's been blown out of proportion and one of the players has been fined for it. He's not happy about how the club have treated him. He's looking at NRL clubs as a result.

The hypocrisy from plenty of Wigan fans is clearly evident with how they have viewed this incident and their wishing that it would just blow over or go away

These self same hypocrites castigated Hardaker and said that he should be sacked when his misdemeanour's became public

IMO Bateman will remain a Wigan player but that a token gesture apology and a slap on the wrists will be issued by the club very shortly

The splits in their squad caused by this incident could cause untold damage to their club moving forward
