As for 'woe is me' posts......what exactly do you see at the moment that engenders something positive to post?

Yeah it's all on me. It's not like you started a thread titled 'apologists and acolytes' the other week or constantly use the words 'gullible' and 'fools' in your posts to describe certain posters on here and then act innocent when they aim something back at you with you convientley forgetting the disparaging names you slide into your posts.

And he's spot on with the little ganging up jumping on the bandwagon clique. For people who constantly go on about "toeing the party line"....it doesn't half apply on here that if you don't toe the particular party line of a certain group of posters on here in that everything the club does is awful and we're doomed for eternity then they attack you for it.

Is Leeds going to the middle 8's such a big deal?

Yes, on paper you should be up there in the mix. Let's look at some positive points.

Regardless of SL form, you will be on the money to go straight back up.

No midweek rugby, some great Sunday games await you, and you never know...you may enjoy it.

This may well be the shake up you need, going back to basics and learning to be a team again.

No team regardless of which sport you play in can keep sustainability forever. Leeds have to learn to be humble and regroup, and start again.

What Leeds are currently doing in 2016 is unprecedented for the SL Era of this sport. No reigning SL Champions have finished the following season lower than 5th (Bradford Champions 1997, RR 5th 1998 - Leeds Champions 2011, RR 5th 2012 (but retained title))

In terms of defending the LLS only Bradford in 1998 have regressed 4 places in the instance given above. Leeds look set fair to beat that in 2016 - well done to all involved.

With Leeds' stinking points difference they'll need to find 2 more wins over their league table neighbours just to avoid finishing bottom.

I'm quite looking forward to Championship rugby.

We'll have a whole new team which means we can get creative with chants/songs. We get to go to stadiums that we've not been to in many a year and can proudly say that we're the only team in history to be relegated while holding all three major domestic titles.

Win - win.

Sensible post. Bit of humble pie would do some on here the world of good.
