Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

Handley's errors took the game away from us. We were 8 points behind until he dropped the ball, then bottled his one on one with Manfredi. Game over.

Mullally was signed as a squad player, I agree, but he's played all but two games this year (he couldn't get a game last year!!). He was signed as back up to the four first choice I mentioned, numpty. He's played so much because of injuries and suspension. FACT

Sutcliffe isn't a stand off in my eyes, but the FACT remains that he is Sinfield's replacement. I don't pick the team. Even so, how often has Mac been able to pick the same combinations?

Ablett, Delaney and Ward are the first choice back row. Ferres was signed on a 1 year deal to cover Ward's injury and because JJB and Delaney are held together by tape.

Doesn't matter what you think of Falloon. He was signed as our hooker and he's injured. FACT.

If Moon came back, we could give Watkins a rest or drop the horrendous Golding.

We haven't had anything like a full team since the opening day (which we would have won if Hardaker could kick goals.)

You really are dumb if you think we should still be top of the league even with 9 players out

Manfredi did to Handley exactly what he did to Hall in the GF - who is to say if Hall had been on the wing the same thing would not have happened?

Our back row is JJB, Ablett and Ward - Delaney and Ferres are cover - let's not forget Ferres is an international player so he is at least as good if not better than two of the three 'first choice back row'

Mullally has been chosen over Singleton - so the coach believes he is a better option - on last night I have to agree - who is the numpty here?

Falloon may well have been signed as the hooker but playing him weakens the side - is that how you think we will climb the table? Same goes for Sutcliffe?

Who has said we should be top?
Falloon in or out no improvement FACT.
WARD not played since last August FACT.
Again yer bemoaning a players absence you clearly dont rate in Suttcliffe so how do you expect him to make a difference ?
When was the last time Delaney was consistently available to be considered 1st choice?
You keep hiding behind those excuses.

Are you saying Ward wouldn't play? Deluded.
I don't rate Sutcliffe, but GH and Mac said he's our starting 6. He plays. Fact.
Delaney is picked even when half fit. Fact.

Again, why did Ferres only sign for one year if he's that important?

I'm sure i heard it was something to do with him being on a bit less money this year due to cap and a verbal agreement for an increase for a longer deal from next season. I reckon Ferres bought into that sell from GH due to his misguided belief we would be challenging for honours but lets not forget his options would have been limited due to it most clubs already used most of the cap for 2016 when he became available.

Hall was out muscled in the Grand Final. Handley totally bottled the challenge.

Singleton was better than Mullally last night. You're definitely the numpty there.

So we are stronger with Lilley at 9 and Mags at 6&7 rather than playing Falloon? Give over

Do you have difficulty reading & taking in what yer reading?
Yer using a Player as an excuse who's been missing since August let that sink in we have a 25/30 man squad & ample cover in that position that should be producing better.
Delaney getting picked unfit doesnt make him the best option does it?
As for Sutty YOU DONT RATE HIM SO HOW DO YOU EXPECT HIM TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE CAPICHE???

Can you please explain why he was on the bench for the Castleford game then?

The two kicks Handley couldn't deal with were both excellent. Add to that Manfredi who is himself superb at attacking those kicks and you have to say credit to Wigan for two great last tackle attacking options.
The issue was actually pointed out by one of the dumbasses talking over the match for Sky, Wigan were ending every set close enough to our line to put in an attacking kick, and their playmaking trio were doing just that. Compare that to Leeds' last tackle ootions(if we actually got there). On the two occasions we did end the set on the Wigan line in the first half, instead of ramping up the pressure, keeping them pinned in the corners and patiently waiting to get the ball back in good field position we gave away two of the dumbest penalties imaginable. JJB's brainfart voluntary tackle and Singleton's blatant shoulder charge into a guy already tackled (EGP coming up there).
Lilley can barely get a bomb over head height, we didn't put in a decent high kick during the match.

Spot on. Smith kicked us to death.
Agred with plenty of above re excuses and confidence is shot.
If say briscoe moon Delaney Ablett had played we would stil have got well beaten. Wigan were missing clubb, gelling Farrell Tomkins metal Micky and o'loughlin after 10 mins

Re: Injury Excuses : Sun May 22, 2016 9:28 am
Injury excuses or not the club needs to be honest with the fans. To constantly name players in 19 who have no chance of playing and then see a bench of kids isnt fair. If Burrow Garbutt Delaney and Falloon was never going to play dont name them.

No mention of why Garbutt didnt play but McD said Burrow was injured last week and only a slight chance next week so why name him and not name Hallas and Briscoe in 19???

Cuthbertson can play anywhere in the pack so why not? We have Walters, Achurch, Ferres also in the 17 too, and no matter if you rate them or not they are considered top 25 players and should be able to 'do a job' in circumstances like this at least.
