Did I say "no way" if I did I apologise for an exaggeration. But surely you as an advocate for mindset previously should note how tricky it would be to go again after last year. Those other years weren't a treble by the way. Two of them didn't feature the LLS, I recall much criticism from other teams (moatly Saints) that we finished 2nd in the league in 2007/2008 so was always something to reach for.

Apparently McDermott praising Ward was proof but he also praised McGuire who Gotcha ripped as very poor, hence why I asked if Gotcha was exaggerating Ward's showing. Didn't say Ward was poor, but "excellent" seemed an exaggerated claim for a performance in a scrappy win away at HKR.

Actually I stated after Hull KR that the right hand edge of Briscoe, Watkins, and Ward looked excellent. You then came on accusing me of bias to Ward, as in your words because you did not hear his name on the radio commentary he must have had a bad game, but I was seeing him as a favourite. I did say McGuire had a poor game that day, along with some others also named, so you got part of that right, and you took offence to me saying that. I only commented on the game I had witnessed, and had you done the same then you would have had every right to argue your opinion against mine. You didn't, but you still proceeded to tell me I was wrong at the time.

As I said you are perfectly entitled to challenge opinions on a like for like basis, but don't make them up to suit, that is what becomes an issue on here. Anyway I only posted because you mentioned me, so as you were.

Don't you know the scenario by now, either....

A, it happens and he can be proven right.

B, it doesn't happen but will be blamed on something "happened at the 11th hour" to change the deal.

If A happens it will be need to be something ''shocking''. Otherwise it was just attention seeking.

If it's B then he loses all credibility, as it's just his word that something at the 11th hour happened, just as it was his word in the first place that something would be announced.

Back to baldwinson. Has he actually played a game of rugby in 2016?

He is 21, played a full season last year at Fev, former England academy captain, what my grandad would have called a "good lad". Can't be much of a surprise if he is getting frustrated. Don't want to open the whole reserve team debate but if a lad like that has no pathway to play it is bad news for RL

Been on the bench twice for Leeds this season - IIRC only got on in the Salford away game though. Besides that I think he's turning out most weeks at Featherstone again.

Baldwinson was also Young championship player of the year, still never gets a shot, do not understand what this lad needs to do!! He has been playing at Fev Rovers and going strong.

Our three Aussie props in Galloway, Garbutt and Cuthbertson are doing ok (latter perhaps trying to hard but you'd still have him in the team). If he should take anyone's place it's Brad 'am I not allowed to shoulder charge anymore' Singleton. 3 needless penalties given away at the weekend and not a murmur on here, but when Galloway and Ferres have done that this year as none academy new signings they've been blasted for it.

Had he had a week or two more patience he'd have been in the 17 for the Magic weekend ahead of Hallas or Briscoe.
