Leeds are second bottom of the table - and have a strong possibility of missing the top 8 perhaps all of GHs efforts should be directed at reversing the current trend. It would be quite good to show how the refurb of Kirkstall is getting on given its apparent impact on the team's performances.

GH comments plenty on team performances - especially when the team is winning - his silence is deafening.

Quite agree , he is quick on the draw when he sees a chance to bull things up and grab our coin . No doubt he is thinking up a plan that will get some more cash in the bank . No gig at the arena for him to milk , no the Kiwis are coming . Maybe its the big one verses CANADA

I don't really understand why everyone is on his case. He's turned us from a mediocre club into a winning one, so we are having a bad season. As long as we stay in Super League this year we can have another crack next year.
Can't blame him for grabbing the limelight when it's there for the (deserved) taking

ALL his efforts. I didn't realise speaking for probably 60 seconds about Salford is taking up some of his efforts, hell maybe we'd have won last night had GH not made that short comment to a reporter.

What would be the point? He's not going to rip into the team or coach publicly and isnt going to say I shouldn't have signed this player and that player etc. so anything he would say would then just get shot down as "excuses" and criticised by yourself and others.

So let me get this straight, people are annoyed at the CEO of the club encouraging people to spend money at the club?
That's just bizarre.

What would be gained by Hetherington making a statement on the current situation? Why does it have to happen? And what relevance does any statement and whether it's made or not have with his comments on Salford?

The performances have been commented regularly on by the head coach. How to turn the situation around has been commented on regularly by the head coach. The progress at Kirkstall has been commented on by the club.
What is wrong with everyone?

Fortunately Hetherington doesnt come out with statements re the team when they're not needed or helpful to the club. Unlike some other club CEO's/owners who can't seem to keep their mouths shut and react like childlike fans rather than leaders of their club.

Its a mindset - deflection technique - why did he even need to comment - poor to comment on how bad others are rather than how good you are - a bit hard to do that at the moment

The last update was 21/3 in which they talked about the disruption not about progress on the refurb.

I bit of honesty would be good right now - he has in the past so why not now?

Expect an announcement in the YEP anytime soon that GH is off on his recruitment driver..er sorry, I mean annual holiday to Australia looking for the best talent to bring over from the NRL to refresh our squad and make the 2017 squad the best we've ever assembled

He is the boss of club who are bottom of SL - I want him to come out suggest how this position is going improve - he didn't have a problem in 2011 when he read the riot act when things were nowhere near as bad as this. I want to feel he is rolling his sleeves up and getting involved and bringing his experience to the fore to sort this out

Why does he need to? That's the head coaches job, who has commented regularly on that very issue.

Maybe he thought a different situation in 2011 required a different response to that in 2016?

Hetherington isn't head coach. He's the CEO. He's not involved in training, he provides the resources and sets the environment for the head coach and other staff.

There was an update a couple of weeks ago from Ryan Golding on Kirkstall and another one just a few days ago from Hetherington himself.

Again, how does a statement or lack of it on our current situation, relate to Hetherington's comments that cheats should be punished?
