Its the 2nd rd. Theres a bit of a trend this weekend with the 3 teams that are playing in the WCC. Its no great shock. Salford and Widnes have had their cup finals this weekend and the only thing theyll be fighting it out for in 23 weeks is the bottom 8s, normal service resumed.
I'd bite the bullet and bring Sinfield back for 2016. Imagine Barcelona replacing Iniesta with Carlton Palmer. We've got the equivalent in Sutcliffe. Treble winning side with the worst halfback combo in the league
Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.
I do hope it is a collapse. That's why I bought a ticket. Oh, and also to see the best player in the world
Leeds may require the drudgery of a Sinfield return in order to keep the scoreline respectable.
Why else would you pay top dollar for a game that is no more than a contrived friendly - seeing Thurston is the main reason I bought a ticket along with seeing Matt Scott.
If NQC have come to play it come be a very long night for Leeds especially after such a poor performance at Widnes.
You don't win anything in February mate, you can start as well as you like but Ill still back us to at least get to a final this year, an for you to win as much as you did last year
Your right you dont win anything in February although the NQC will Buck that trend next week

I wouldn't be so cocky being a Wigan fan if I was you The reason that Wigan aren't playing in the only WCC game that really matters next week is that your mob lost yet another GF and have to make up the numbers yet again in another meaningless friendly

Thurston is the ONLY reason I decided to attend for the first time since the Melbourne fixture two years ago.

I believe the Cowboys arrived Friday (over a week before the game) and have brought a full squad over, therefore it's reasonable to assume they are taking it seriously.
Roosters haven't arrived yet and they play Saints on Friday. Feel free to draw your own conclusions on their appetite for that fixture.
Nice to have you back Billy, we've really missed your optimistic slant on our players, results, performances, etc.
I hope you'll stick around when things start going well for us too but your previous suggests otherwise. Enjoy it while it lasts Bill.
RL is no longer a priority for me full stop. This has little to do with the Rhinos. I didn't watch any RL last season, and that includes the NRL and afterthought internationals (when the RFL eventually get around to organising dates and venues!) I grew tired of the game and tired of the unwelcoming nature of the RL community. The game demands national recognition but shuns anyone whom they view as outsiders. That's why RL will always be a small time sport run by those whose natural limitations restrict them to making big splashes in small puddles.
I'll stick around until I get bored, which should be up until the Cowboys game next week at least. This forum is tedious unless there are issues to discuss, like Leeds losing and/or playing like shiyte as has been pointed out by someone else on another thread.
