You mean like the sort of event that's already been planned and publicised for after the New Zealand game? That kind of event? In addition to the other events that have already been planned and publicised. (I believe there's a dinner with JP, Sinfield and Barrie Mac that has been advertised for quite a while now)
You do realise this isn't "the club" honouring anyone don't you? It's an event being put on by First Direct Arena and Leeds City Council, not the Rhinos.
Like I say, if it's your thing knock yourself out. Enjoy.
Who knows, you could even restrain yourself from flying off into a hissy fit because other people don't share your happy-happy joy-joy fandom. Unlikely, I know.
This event quite clearly replaces any homecoming that we would have if we win. If Leeds didn't have one are you seriously suggesting people wouldn't complain about it? Seriously?
As for a hissy-fit I was responding to the plethora of miserable cnuts who are happy to join in these things but only if it doesn't cost them anything. And of course those who take the mick out of such things for no reason.
As I said, if you're a miserable b&stard you can take the p!ss out of an event celebrating 3 of the clubs best ever players in what could be its best ever season.
But only if you're a miserable b&stard.
