I just hope the poor wee guy has recovered from that VICIOUS boot to the face he took.

It was horrendous and i admire the sheer determination from the guy to drag his semi unconscious body back up and to continue playing. No way was he feigning injury (again....) in order to con the ref. No way would he take a dive.

Tough as teak that lad and plays the games as it should be.

I also love the fact that he stares at the ref EVERY time he has been tackled, whilst shrugging his shoulders, rolling his eys and delaying the play the ball. The fact that he is willing to do this shows he was determined to give the Leeds players an extra few second to get back into the defensive line. Sheers classy sportsmanship.

I quite like Wilkin. Think he is under rated by some. He's a competitor, but I think he speaks well after especially as he's matured. And also like his work on the BBC

think he has turned in to a fantastic player and is the best and most articulate talker in the game along with John Wells

I think Wilkin is in the vein of Wellens.

Wellens was the better player but they are both extremely competitive, prideful, honest after a game, and will do what it takes for their team to succeed. They will also both whine till the cows come home about ANY try scored against them. The difference is that Wellens would not cheat in gameplay or take a dive. Wilkin has done that numerous times, and that fact prevents me from respecting him.

I can see why people like him. An articulate RL player is a rare breed, however, he seems like the John Inverdale of RL, not as sleazy just yet, but give it a decade.

I actually think Wilkin comes across really well as a pundit and he clearly has a career in that field after RL. But boy is he a big baby at times on a rugby field!
