As others have said...he looks to be another great acquisition by the club and has probably sealed Achurch's fate - although I hope the latter can be kept and selected only as a second rower where he still shows plenty of ability if he can stay fit. Lots of 'ifs' of course which the club might just not think is any longer worthwhile.

I thought he had a decent debut TBH, nothing flashy and found himself out of position a couple of times and had to be marshalled a bit by Mags and Sinny but that's only to be expected on his first outing. Not frightened of running the ball in hard and gets stuck in defending.

Also, as Andy G has mentioned, he has to learn that when Burrow is at dummy half, the first receiver is usually somewhere near the centre position so it's pointless lining yourself up for a run-in anywhere near the ruck.

He's certainly got some size. Obviously not settled yet and not fit but I like how he came on and just got stuck into defending hard. I think he's going to be someone who saps the energy of defenders, looks difficult to put on the deck.

Achurch has to be on the endangered species list right now.

Looked a bit gassed after his first couple of drives to me but halftime revived him and he looked more up to the pace in the second half once he got into it.

Drove it in hard and although not making jp esq yardage was always dragging 3 defenders with him.

Also seemed alert to things like sinnys quick tap and running on to cuthbertsons offloads.

I for one are very optimistic on our front row for next season. Pace, power, offloads, youth and experience.

Absolutely bang-on. Achurch is a second rower. He has looked best running wide and feeding Watkins.

considering his lack of rugby, the fact he was on a 24hr flight until last Saturday and wont even remember the names of half his team mates I thought it was a very encouraging start. Fully fit and knowing all our routines I think he'll fit right in

I was pleasantly surprised by him as others have said played little rugby this year, didn't really know team mates or calls Long flight, thought he did well.

OT but was a good sight to see Friday the Julie of old hitting hard in attack and defence. Had a great game for me
