Did well in a good team showing. As did Leuluai, one thing about the criticism of his showings last year is that the team as a whole disappointed in those games. When someone plays bad in performances where the team play well is the real cause for concern.

Drove it in well. Looked for the offload but knew when to hang on. Good defence. Did long enough spells to suggest he's not just a 10-15 minute relief prop. Decent debut.

The concerns about his fitness, just like the ones we heard from Hudds fans about Mullaly, don't bother me as I think our conditioners are much much better. People might not agree with our forwards doing such long minutes but that they can donwithout completely failing (sometimes we cope, sometimes we just lose but it's not massive) tells me we are well ahead in that department.

SL and NRL are very different in terms of tempo and structure. I was quite impressed with his work rate. He certainly draws numbers in the opposing defence. With regard to his second half stint, well he got himself in position to take the ball up a few times but as it was Burrow at dummy half, he was wasting his time.

Overall, I think he looked very promising. Could turn out to be another low profile, but quality NRL signing

Thought he was solid and a big unit. Him and Cuthbertson give some more size in the forwards compared to last year and that gave more space for the back row, halves and backs to play free-er rugby. Really impressive performance as well. Great rugby to watch as an RL and sports fan. Not so good to watch as a Wire fan!

He looks the ideal replacement for Kylie, takes some putting down, and hits hard in defense. Considering he's only been here a week he was superb. Kylie was close to MotM IMO, it was one of his best performances in a Leeds shirt.

Did the simple things well. Clearly more to come once he gets up to speed and learns about our attacking shapes and structures, and that there's no point offering yourself as a runner when Aiton isn't at dummy half.

Reserve judgement until he finds some proper match fitness and we see what he can do.
