Bit of jumping the gun there by Fox Sports.

Looking at that, I see George Rose is off contract at the end of this year. Gets some stick for his size, but worth a look for a couple of destructive 15 minute spells a game?

George Rose got homesick in Melbourne few months after leaving Sydney (Manly) so can't imagine how he'd cope coming over here

And regarding Rapira if the signing is true on just a one year contract must be some serious concerns regarding his injuries and fitness

I'll be very suprised if we've signed Rapira on only a 1 year deal. Doesn't make much sense for either side.

Maybe with an option of a year or two extension if he plays a certain amount of games.TBH that would be the sensible thing to do from our point of view if there is a bit of a question mark over his fitness,then we cam pull the plug if he is hardly on the pitch next year, we'll see.
