Don't we ever learn! Has punished us for years and we still give him all the time to play, very rarely pressurising him. As soon as Delaney went off injured, no one steeped up to pressure kicks, put on a late hit to wind him up and put him off his game

I thought, barring his solo break for a try in the first 10 minutes, we keep tabs on Brough quite well and Huddersfield as a side were shot just coming up to the hour mark despite having all the play for the first 20 minutes of the second period and didn't really look like breaking us down.But...we kept giving away silly penalties and field position and they eventually had a hot 10 minute spell.

Really we got what we asked for, Brough was hardly anything special on the night imo.

He came to the fore when their forwards got the upper hand. Which is pretty common for halfbacks. We had long spells in the second half when we were losing the ruck, and you can't easily pressure a half in those circumstances. Brough's a good player, but our issues against Wire and in the Hudds fightback were more about the ruck area and the forwards, in my very humble opinion. If anything, I think Hudds should have made more of the opportunities we gave them in the second half, the blame for which must lie partially with the playmaker.

Brough gets more responsibility & has far more expectation than any other half back. Hudds failure to replace Kevin Brown has cost them massively. Brough & Brown would be a stunning HB combo. At the moment every single play seems to go through Brough. Compare to the current England 7 who passes along the line, misses tackles & makes errors with impunity.

Kev Brown might be doing the business now but trust me, he wasn't when he was us.

did he play in the first half? like any half back he only plays if his pack his on top. seen him play far better than he did on thursday

Danny Brough can be a fantastic player and his kicking game is the best in super league . but when the chips are down and i mean really down would you trust him to come up trumps ?

Which HB would you trust? I mean really, really trust.
