Also no criticism of the Messiah Tony Smith. Even though Chris Bridge looked better as a halfback last year than Myler did according to the Wire board, he used the former off the bench for only the last 15 mins last night (and not in the HB's) whilst Myler stank out the place.
One thing is for sure neither of our half backs would have been able to keep up with Burgess for the last Wigan try. Neither of our half backs would have been capable of putting in the tackling stint Williams did either
Wigan lost by two and Warrington six hardly drubbings. Wigan's defence last night was pretty good - i doubt Leeds would have been able to keep Brisbane to such a low score.
Its a long season let's see how we go against the better sides in the league. Next two home games are Huddersfield and Wigan that should give a better indication of where Leeds are.
