The kicking game is still the most disappointing aspect of our half backs' play. I'd really like us to look more organised on our kick plays, they always seem off the cuff and it doesn’t seem like much thought goes into them

That's my point on another thread. Why is it that so many SL halfbacks look clueless when it comes to last tackle options? When kicking on the last came in in 83 it was no surprise that a lot struggled with it at first, but thyese guys would have trained as kickers since their schoolboy days. I just don't get it, especially when a good kicking game often makes the difference between winning and losing.

And really that's the thing.....we know they can do it, they've done it on numerous occasions and in the biggest and tigtest of games......just seems like sloppiness and lack of concentration when you see it happen in these circumstances and games.
