Wouldn't say I am gutted. Would be nice to be involved but gutted is a strong word. Good luck Wigan, wire and more importantly saints over the weekend

Not gutted.Although would like to have seen us compete for the real thing.The other two circus matches devalue the WCC IMO.The only thing Gary H will miss is the £100,000 revenue from staging the circus matches.

Wigan let a 20-6 slip to lose 20-22 to HKR
Warrington looked tired and soft losing to Catalans

We managed to find a late winner to beat our bogey side Hudds.

Gutted we missed last week still?

wigan had an 8 day turnaround. if they were tired their coaches and conditioners need shooting. would they have been tired if they had played leeds or saints last Saturday? were they tired when they lost at HKR before? excuses. i'm sure the fat ape wane will use it but for me? not a chance.

warrington again had an 8 day turnaround although dragons at home are a tough battle for anyone. saints had the shortest turnaround and found a way to win. that's what good sides do

Saints were assisted by Cas getting some awful calls and being generally mediocre for large chunks of the game.

Otherwise it might have been 0 out of 3 for the WCS teams this week.

Doesn't come as any surprise. The WCS is a masterstroke by Hetherington: introduce it to coincide with the season where "every minute counts" while ensuring we play no part in it. Hopefully his genius will see the golden gen go out on a high.

So does this mean that the NRL is way behind South Sydney? That Rugby League will die a slow death in Brisbane? That Brisbane's players simply aren't good enough to compete with South Sydney?
If only Brisbane played in a more intense competition with meaningful games.

I only caught the first half but from what i saw Saints looked more threatening than Brisbane and there only looked one winner.

That said, of all 3 NRL teams that came over here i thought Brisbane looked the weakest so no great surprise

Brisbane's attack was shocking against Wigan too, their halves in particular were poor, however it's a new pairing so may take time to gel. Having said that I'm not convinced Milford is a stand off.
