Very good player though smith is, I wasn't impressed with the team performance yesterday. His dictating of the play was detrimental to any involvment of the 6 & 7 who were largely ineffectual and the forwards overused both smith and Mikolaj. Mom for me was Harvey Whiteley who made them tick, opened hull up and was very strong in defence.

This week: Four keys to a Rhinos win in the WCC

Re: Rhinos u16's v Wigan u16's. : Sun Mar 01, 2015 5:55 pm
Suppose there's a balance to be struck between finding a way of getting the ball in your best player's hands as much as you can, and having a structure that best benefits the team.

Wasn't Barry Eaton's lad on his debut at 6? Only looks about 12, but took his try really well with some excellent footwork.

Oledski looks like the prototype modern front-rower. Very athletic, good feet to go with strength and power. If he develops physically and has the right attitude, could be a good player.

That was the problem for me, the game was won through strong individual athletes not structure and performance accross the team.

Yeah Corey, that was the only thing he did and stepped back to the middle of the pitch every time he caught it. Not to bag a 16 year old but I can't see why he's there, also kiedan at 1, good athlete though not a pass in him. Harry Newman is a great athlete though again was underused

I can hazard a guess at why Corey Eaton's at Leeds, and with the best will in the world it's probably not entirely based on his ability.

Wasn't Gary Stephens on the coaching staff at Leeds when they signed Gareth?

Like the look of Dyson Nicholson as well, be good to get him settled in one position though whether that's centre or back row.

Welcome to Morley pal

You can find out which team you should support by putting your postcode into the club finder
http://therfl.co.uk/

my nearest clubs are Batley and Dewsbury and both are 2.4 miles away
