Are you certain about that?
My recollection was that he was very good with the Academy, then when he became a 1st team regular he was behind Harris, the regular kicker until he left to go to RU.
I don't recall thinking that our goal-kicking suffered when Sinfield took over.
Indeed I only remember his outstanding successful kicks from difficult positions that won us important games.
I can't think of too many games where I left the ground disappointed because missed kicks cost us victory.
Somebody on here probably has the stats to prove or disprove one of us.

Didn't he take over from Furner? I remember Kev getting stick in the early days and Powell sticking by him. My dad was one of those criticising and we like to remind him about it even now...'that lad will never be a kicker'
