very few nowadays. Were a couple in Holbeck which we used to go in but I think they are closed now. We will have a drink in town, walk to the ground and probably head back to town afterwards. Want to have a look in the newly refurbished Prince of Wales in Mill Hill.

I think it will be weatherspoons for us then in the train station then probably taxi from town to Elland road xxx
The Britannia Inn, Grove Inn, TBH think i will be going to the Old peacock, great atmosphere but if you want my advice get there a little bit earlier because it will be packed
Me and a few friends are wondering what pubs are around the area? I know of the peacock just outside of the ground? anymore within walking distance?

Chaz,
If you get the number 1 bus from town it drops you at the co-op near the Old Whiteheart although i wouldnt go in there if i were you, if you stay on the bus a 2mins longer you can go to the Whistlestop which is alright and you can have a 5 min walk to the ground.
Then there is the Peacock, it will be packed though.
you could also walk down crow nest lane from the Whistlestop and go to the Dry Salters.
