I think its tough if you agree or not. We've had to move a Sunday game 2 week later to Friday night to benefit Salford who requested the change. Crowd will be down 2000 but nothing we can do. As far as I'm aware that's the same for Wigan. What's the big issue for Wigan anyway? You play the vast majority of your games on a Friday night? Moaning about the m62 is pretty lame as that's the same trip all away fans have to make for Wigan....
You seem to be adopting a blasé attitude to attendance at this game.
Wigan are (along with Leeds) one of the best supported teams in Super League. I would have thought that the Wakey, Leeds and Wigan games would be your biggest attendances historically. If the crowd at one of your biggest games of the season is 2,000 down on last year when it was played on a Sunday you stand to lose approx. £30,000 taking into account concessions (though Maths isn't my strong point). Good to know that Cas don't need to care about that sort of money.
Sunday games at Wigan tend to be worse for attendance than Friday night games, and I'm not sure that the size of your (usual) away support would warrant any change in kick off times to accommodate you, though a cup match would be different.
Anyway Friday or Sunday I'll be there, and your poor start to the season notwithstanding (I'm expecting Saints to beat you on Friday), I expect a tough and close game.
